REFUND Policy
Please note: No refunds are given once the classes have begun. It is not unusual for students to have to miss 1 or 2 classes over the 12 weeks and we are happy to send you notes for classes missed. If you anticipate having to miss more than 3 classes, we encourage you to take the class at another quarter when you are able to attend at least 9 of the 12 classes. This is not a class where you can "drop in" at random and we do ask students to make a commitment to attend at least 9 of the 12 classes and we reserve the right to disenroll students if they miss more than 3 classes (without any refund).
We also do not transfer or credit class tuition from one quarter to upcoming quarters.
We have an minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
Attendance and Behavior
Any student displaying threatening, intimidating, violent behavior, or who brings a weapon onto or around the premises may be dismissed and asked to withdraw from the class without a refund. We reserve the right to refuse to register anyone who engages in disruptive or otherwise unacceptable behavior, including the use of alcohol or illegal drugs on or around the premises.
Scholastic Drop
We reserve the right to drop a student if we feel that a class (or classes) do not fit a particular student's training needs.
Students freely and knowingly assume all risk incidental to participating in class. Students understand and accept that our staff are not responsible for injury to persons or property related to participation in the class. As a student, you here by agree to indemnify, release, and hold harmless The Seattle Artist's Way Center, its officers, directors, employees, or agents from any liability arising out of or related to any activity, accident, or incident on the premises.
